Intelligent information processing encompasses advanced technologies capable of learning, interpreting, and judging for intelligent control. Applications are wide-ranging and include data mining, the Internet of Things, human-machine interaction, multimedia analysis, intelligent transportation, electric power system analysis, and system security and monitoring.
This special issue will present original research on applications and systems for these intelligent information processing technologies. It will cover advanced techniques for solving practical problems in different applications, as well as discuss key research directions for the future. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Machine-learning
- System monitoring and fault diagnosis
- Modeling and simulation
- Optimization and decision
- Machine vision

Submission Guidelines
Please refer to the author guidelines. Articles should not exceed 7,200 words, including all main body, abstract, keyword, bibliography, biography, and table text. Each table and figure counts for 250 words. Please submit electronically through ScholarOne Manuscripts, selecting this special-issue option.
